  There has been an Anzac Day parade since I talked last also some birthday celebrations A quick visit at the Craft Cottage while popping into the church as well the zygocactus tries valiantly to flower each year! plus the usual popovers to the beach occasionally Altogether a fairly unremarkable few months, with the French Open tennis along the way!

 Amongst all the pandemic news, we get to do some normal things like taking photos of some of my favourite things A little difficult transferring from an old broken down laptop to a new one. But I'll learn eventually, hopefully. May God go with you this month. And at this time of grieving for so many,  I will add a link to a favourite sacred piece LUX AETERNA  from Elgar's Enigma Variations.

 the zygocactus is always pretty..such a lovely color...  the Moreton Bay Fig Tree is pretty impressive too  always love the early morning lighting effects... and camellias are very pretty and prolific too at the moment. and of course there are always forays to the beach...when it is not too crowded...

the zygocactus have been looking great lately... such a pretty color apologies if I have posted this previously went for a drive with a friend not far from here, and we found these hillsides of yellow flowers in bloom... have no idea what they are, apart from looking like giant daisies...and quite impressive hope you have enjoyed them too.... and had a good week. I seem to be forgetting to blog lately.... must be all the fun I have babysitting!! Hope you have a good week. May God bless you this week.

admiring the zygocactus and reflecting on the view some leaves I found before communion and a wonderful wattle outside after church. I must be trying to get used to the fact that blogger says to me they are going to make me use the new interface soon...so of course I actually loaded these in the wrong order. Though of course on a restful Sunday while one is trying to get rid of the virus and sinus infection, it doesn't much matter which way we view them..I just love that wattle...everything seems to be happening earlier...it isn't winter officially yet, and yet we have had overnight minimum temps under 10 degrees celsius all week already! Any wonder the wattle thinks it is time to flower! I don't mind. A sight for sore eyes, especially when I have to sit up the back, skip the actual communion and the chat with coffee after, and go home, trying not to pass on the virus! A new heart I will give you And a new spirit I will put within you Ezekiel 36: 26

admired the wonderful bunch of flowers after early service in the old Pioneer church and noticing that the wattles are about to burst into bloom already... we were invited to Sunday lunch... a lovely time outside in the sun.... a small breeze blowing, reminding that it is winter here in our sub-tropical paradise... the differently colored zygocactus was amazing.... so were the lavender pots of blooms and these gorgeous leaves... nice to have time to chat over a lovely shared meal.... the remains of the day.... elegant sufficiency.. and at the end of the day... time to go home.... come again another day! Flowers are such a wonderful thing on a special occasion. They can say we love you, when we say goodbye to a good friend, husband, brother, brother in law. and they can also be just ordinary flowers growing in a garden, but how they can cheer us when our faces alight on theirs.... and they almost seem to have even more significance when a marriage is celebrated, don't you think? And then when you come home to your own garden, there is often a little overlooked gem sitting beaming at you from the bushes.
