Anzac Day
It is Anzac Day in Australia today. A day when we remember our servicemen who fell at Anzac Cove during the war Having never been down to the local service before, I decided to have a walk down to the memorial, just as everyone else was coming home again it certainly looked like there was a goodly number of people who had attended people were still gathered around to have their own private moments of remembrance They shall grow not old As we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them! As I walked home afterwards I had this view out to Brookfield as I crossed the road And I remembered again that there are many people gathered out there looking for a mother of three small children who went missing after her walk last week..
