A brief glance
come in ...for a quick look at the quilts... and the lovely windows! I just love these embroidered quilts that this clever lady did. One of all the houses that she had ever lived in. Complete with gardens. She said she allowed everything in the gardens to bloom at once. I am glad she did. They are terrific. Thanks very much to Betty W. for showing us her quilts. She also said in her bio that she had once flown Tiger Moths. Wow. What an exciting life she had! I took more photos of the windows than the quilts! And I am not sure, but is that a doggie in the window there? Maybe my eyes are deceiving me. Even if it is, I thoroughly approve. I am sure God welcomes us all, along with our pets into his kingdom! I am not usually a fan of much modern art, but I do like that last window. I loved all the windows. Maybe I might go and do that mosaic course that someone was advertising. I know it isn't stained glass, but it might be almost as much fun!
