Love is all there is... Love and cherish your families Tell them you love them, Tell them God loves them..  and read someone's words about the loss of a cherished family member ... Thanks CBW, for sharing how it feels to lose someone, someone so precious that there are no words. And yet you were able to put it into such eloquent prose, how it might feel...it is so lovely to read  how you post about your precious family, and hold them close to you... May God be with you all, and the grieving  family and friends of the precious person taken from you too soon. May God help us to express our love for those closest to us, and to care for them such that they know they are loved.

 Some cloud formations observed the other day as I drove north out of the city  Nice to be able to have lunch at Caloundra on the way to see the grandchildren! Not a bad spot...there were still people in swimming. It is getting cooler these days, but I guess there are always people visiting from further south who think it is warm enough to swim! Another inspirational link. This time from from a lady called Cynthia Bezek on her blog Let's Talk The first particular post I was drawn to was titled:  When Prayer Feels Flat but there was another called   A Thousand Blessings which I found just as compelling. Strange coloring of the ocean at Caloundra the other day, I wonder if it is caused by tannins from the trees floating into the passage. Looking towards the northern tip of Bribie Island. All in all, a very strange experience!

We could be forgiven for feeling as if we are underwater... After what is now being called the hottest summer on record in Australia, and then after probably nearly a record,  very wet February,  we are now expecting even more rain for the weekend, in SE Queensland!!! We could be forgiven for going a little "troppo". A term usually reserved for the craziness that results from waiting in the extreme heat for the wet season to arrive in the tropics. Perhaps what we are experiencing might better be termed "cabin fever". Well, I guess we haven't been quite confined to barracks continually since Australia Day the first at the end of January,  but the prospects of even more rain doesn't seem to be terribly exciting anymore. From one who loves the wet season normally. ;-( It must sound even worse for those whose homes or businesses or lives have been affected by the rain and floods more than once since then...some of them even three times!!!...

Grandma was the lucky person to get to go to the beach-side playground with Mr Three...always fun to play in the sand keeping an eye out up on the observation deck any ships ahoy? no, not really oh well let's have an icecream while we wait before we go home to play ... Grandma was also very lucky to be able to help put Mr 3 to bed. After much settling all was quiet for a while. A little voice piped out of the darkness. "Grandma I love you". I love you too little fireman!

it never ceases to amaze me when a ship goes past Caloundra how close they seem as they go around the point this one is off down the passage between Bribie Island and Moreton Island to the Port of Brisbane. Still waiting for a special one to arrive...this one wasn't it, though it was supposed to arrive yesterday! Hope it won't be long. They say another week. We'll see. There's a scooter on it that a little boy is waiting for.
