a walk through a sculpture garden...
A walk through the Sculpture Garden at the Botanic Gardens is well worth the time...so lovely... set in the Australian bush.
while in Canberra, to the National Gallery
After the conference had finished, it was good to be able to check out the Tom Roberts Exhibition that was on at the National Art Gallery in Canberra, while we were there. Tom Roberts is(was) a famous Australian artist...I am sure you can google his name and you will find much better renditions of his art than my mobile camera was allowed to take... Of course with two little boys in tow, it was an interesting visit to say the least, especially because they had a wonderful room for kids to play, dress up, paint, draw...what fun to keep them happy and amused while we could pop out and get another look for ourselves... Lunch outside was a perfect place to finish, with a glimpse of a art work suspended in the distance...
