I went out to another wonderful quilt show on the weekend. Is it me, or is it the building...I'll have to go out and check, but it always looks like it is on a lean when I take a photo of that building!! and of course I wasn't disappointed more about the bicycle later... the quilt above was done by a friend for her friend overseas...made especially with materials depicting Australian native plants. the quilt above I thought was quite spectacular, I loved the random placements of flowers that were freestanding and of course the one above was interesting too...based on the statue of liberty in fact there were very many that I enjoyed... especially this one..... I just love these flowers... but then strelitzia always grab me just amazing some of these works...all of them... back to the bicycles....again there was a group WHISPERS challenge where one person in a group of six quilters was shown a photo (this year a photo of a bicycle in a garden)... then the others one by one see t...

Out in the leafy rural suburb of Brookfield, there is an annual quilt show, where this photographer can never get the building to look as if it appears standing straight. Next time I go, I think I'll take a level with me, and just check, whether it is me, or the building... ;-) come on in anyway... and have a bit of a look around... the challenge this year was a good one...you can read about it in the previous post, the sunday afternoon jazz edition below.... I always enjoy looking at them... some people are so talented... little gifts available to buy as christmas gifts... really loved this one above...one of the challenge quilts... and the delicate one above that a friend did for a grandchild expected... a couple of the challenge quilts... and a glimpse of one of my favorites...you will see a better photo of it below, along with some others.
