our wintery wonderland on Christmas Day some images from 116th street, Columbia campus again. of course all the snow has been washed away, and we have had some temperatures of minus 18 degrees celsius...quite cold enough for NYC, I think! We headed down to the local Catholic church on Christmas Day to their midday mass because it was in English (so many have Spanish services), and because it was the only local service we could find for Christmas Day, as a lot of churchs have their services on Christmas Eve...a bit hard to take baby out past his bedtime!

Ah, it is nearly Christmas...time to go out and look at the lights.... pretty fairyland lights in the shop windows... Christmas decorations outside the buildings....life is magical for children at Christmas.
