This bougainvillea has been flowering away for quite some time down the road from here. Finally I remembered to take my camera and take a photo! Well, the week has been a wonderful one, what with wonderful flowers, not to mention some spectacular sunsets (see skywatch friday below)..and a visit to Toowoomba the Garden City up on the Great Dividing Range, South East Queensland. This rose was quite beautiful and delicate. At least I think it was a rose! I really should have spent more time driving around looking at all the beautiful gardens, that are flowering there , despite the very bad situation with their water supply! Someone said recently that their dams are down to 7% capacity. I can hardly believe that could be true. Well, sort of, beacuase I know they have been in a bad way for a long time! Here's praying for a regular old wet season to fill those dams this Christmas..or before! I just love purple irises, don't you? They remind me of my Mum who used to grow them beau...

His eye is on the squirrel and He watches over me! Is that how it goes...not quite like that! and the birds of the air ...came to visit... Roses Roses...beautiful Roses he watches over the babies in their cribs... and even the grandmothers! Reflections of the hospital garden as I went home last night. Thanks for the offer of a private room for mother and father and baby last night... And I am not sure what this is doing here..another image as I walked home. So often I am photographing the beautiful parts of New York...and I miss the ordinary! Thanks God for watching over us all!
