Buderim Pioneer Cottage

 On what was a fairly dull and dreary day  I decided to pop in to see the Buderim Pioneer Cottage  before I did my shopping up there today...I wonder if this wonderful bloom is part of the nasty Datura family? It looks a bit like it, but oh so pretty. there was a wonderful lassiandra flowering outside too  It was all rather like an old historical museum really loved the old gramophone..  The young couple who bought the land and obviously built the old cedar cottage must have had a large number of children,  as they had built a narrow set of stairs leading up to a couple of attic bedrooms.. this children's cot looks rather like the one that my Mum had for all of us. I think my older sister inherited it, I wonder if she still has it?  the old kitchens are rather classic...  though undoubtedly there are still some of these grand old wood stoves around, and kettles in use, in many a country kitchen today... It doe...
