 Gosh, it is now October, and I last blogged here in April. Birthdays have come and gone,  lockdowns have been and gone also!! Queensland has not fared too badly but Melbourne is in another long lockdown as well as NSW. NSW has a new premier, and will open up a bit tomorrow  having got to 70 percent vaccination rates. Melbourne lags behind a bit but they will both have quite a few ongoing cases... they are going to call it "living with covid" Heaven Help Us. I'll have to find a photo to cheer us up here a bit.  After all the gloom and doom of more than the last 12 months A new brighter header picture for my blog today, and a few photos from the recent month. well, that's if I can find out how to put them in here. It appears that blogger has changed a few things since I was last here! Easter has been.  I discovered that one can buy licorice easter aggs if desired.  So I did. I have actually been reading again after a year of not reading! This was the latest one. About an intrepid young lady making a name for herself by running the first all woman garage in Australia in the 1920's!! They even had a mention of the pandemic of 1918.  uncanny/ There have been a couple of birthday celebrations of late. Nice to be able to do something relatively normal and exciting. And to see some people! (wry smile) Well. I managed a few photos.  The others apparently didn't want to be dragged across!! (smiles again) maybe blogger is limiting my numbers of photos! And the mad global pandemic is still with us  luckily Australia has managed to contain most of our outbreaks  through locking down states or areas.
