up over Inwood Hill... presume these things actually work? and down again... plenty of rock...what Manhattan is built on....and caves too.... icicles frozen over the rocks.... and a commemorative plaque to mark the buying of Manhattan Island .... down by the lake again....where the Harlem River meets the Hudson. looks like a lot of ice in there at the moment a quick chat in the sun before we head home through the park, and past the baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and playgrounds.

My World

My World from Inwood Hill Park today, is a compilation of images taken there over the last month, mostly the last couple of days. Inwood Hill Park is at the northern most tip of Manhattan Island, New York. It is separated from the Bronx by the Harlem River...this majestic place sits on the Bronx side, overlooking the Hudson River. Many people use the park for walking... for smelling the flowers that bloom in the spring...tra la... for walking doggies... where the geese swim in line.... where the dogwood bloom... and the ducks and geese bring up their young.... This pretty garden is at the Seaman Avenue entrance ... there are swings galore.... and many squirrels.... lots of baseball games! more pretty flowers... puzzling reflections.... a photographic bridge.... I love these geese all in a line at low tide... are these Canadian geese? Yes, somebody says they are, thank you! school sports days.... a wonderful open green space to spread out.... a revolving bridge under the big one...a bi...
