Palm Sunday

Image
is celebrated all around the world today in Christian Churches. Go into the village and you will find a donkey tied.... Untie them and bring them to me... A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road and others cut branches from the trees Hosanna to the Son of David Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was in turmoil asking "who is this"? The crowds were saying "this is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee". photos taken today at SPSA, St Pauls and St Andrew's, NYC. where the congregation processed with palm branches and donkey around the city block before entering the church triumphantly.

there we go...perfect moments...

there we go...I said it wouldn't be long...the tree has blossomed....perfect! as I sit here updating this blog, I am privileged to hold and cuddle grand-baby number nine. (grand-daughter number six). having had the honor of putting grandson to bed, reading one of my favorite books, A Spree in Paris. you can tell by the lack of punctuation and capitals, that she is captive in my arms, or is it that I am captive in hers? precious moments in time, like the one I witnessed at the park today, when one of my favorite trees bloomed fully. cold and rainy day that it was. I must say I have been a very privileged grand mother, having had the honor of cuddling them all so soon after their births, and looking after the older ones while Mum and Dad are busy in hospital, coming home etc. precious precious precious little lives all of them. Many thank-yous to the loving parents and children.

catching up... everything is starting to bloom

the tree down at the nature center is starting to bloom at last and the cherry tree on the corner backward somersaults at gym on the beam and certificates too more blooms around and about the children's garden at the hospital is all closed off due to big construction work in the park/garden...nice to be able to see it throught the windows! I noticed the dogwood flowering out there...very pretty and some of Mummy's very perfumed flowers....
