Today's Flowers
This bougainvillea was flowering cheerfully on my morning walk this morning! And I found these delightful flora and fauna at Maroochydore up on the Sunshine Coast yesterday...what I call a red river gum...and a lorikeet I think this is a sort of a hibiscus (above) These yellow trees are flowering everywhere at the moment. The plumbago looked good, but I can never photgraph the true blue color that they are! These are guava flowers on a tree down the road! The frangipani that I thought looked pretty good this morning when I took it's photo, is not quite as nice as I thought....looks like those leaves are getting ready to fall off! I think the purple flower might be a duranta. And I call this an Indian Hawthorne, though I think some poeple might have another name! It makes a great hedge, but has to be trimmed every so often! And the bauhinia was looking quite pretty down there against the white frangipani in the background this morning when I got home, in the early morning light! To ...
