fun in the sun
It was great to get to the beach last week on a lovely sunny day, on return from my lazy time in the tropical north it is such fun to share the beach with a small child isn't it? and the seagulls of course...there weren't many others there though someone was practicing the skill of surfboard riding I think which is much more fun when there's water involved the waves out further were pretty rough and swimmers were advised not to swim "out the back"...to stay in the knee to waist deep water... of course there was much running around as well...who can resist but the waves and the water are just the thing at the beach aren't they? we are so fortunate to have lovely warm winter days, despite the pretty cold nights.
