Today's Flowers
some pretty bluebells from New York... and then we went to Richmond, Virginia for a few days...and while we were there we were able to visit Maymont Park...a wonderful park quite near the city center. this looked to me quite like a poppy...but I couldn't be sure, it was very pretty though! once again, I don't know what this little red flower was... and this is one of the pretty grasses growing there ... it looked like they had a lovely entrance garden to the children's animal farm... I really love all the temperate climate vegetation..! And pine cones! These look like azaleas to me..but what a large bush...I wonder if that was a rhodedendron? very pretty... and I wish I knew what these wonderful creamy yellow flowers were on these very large trees! I really enjoyed my walk through Maymont Park...I hope you did too!
