June 2020 a little bit of normality

Image
Amongst all the pandemic news, we get to do some normal things like taking photos of some of my favourite things A little difficult transferring from an old broken down laptop to a new one. But I'll learn eventually, hopefully. May God go with you this month. And at this time of grieving for so many,  I will add a link to a favourite sacred piece LUX AETERNA  from Elgar's Enigma Variations.

there's a bird in the tree....and other related or unrelated things...

there's a bird in the top of this tree.... I don't know whether to blame the photographer or the camera for a not so clear photo... I suspect the former! One day I took some photos of the dying bromeliads ... and here is another photo of the beautiful African violet... And that is about it for this week. Gosh I haven't even been over to the beach...we have had very hot weather then very wet weather!! Hopefully we may have more days that feel more like autumn soon!! Have a great week everyone!!

Happy Australia Day

Image
Did I post the African violet yet? It has been so pretty... and the full moon was pretty good too ...  always fun to see the Australia Day parade go past  even though  the date we celebrate it  seems to be becoming  quite contoversial some people even call it Invasion Day... the tennis has been interesting too, but of course I have been forgetting to take photos of it! Hope you have a great Australia Day week!!

Out and About
