some images of Brisbane City, taken while I was a passenger going over the Story Bridge with my brother on the way to the airport. It was an early start this morning! There's always a crane or two around, still plenty of construction going on.. My brother might possibly think the same thoughts about my photography as my sister does.. ."she has rocks in her head". I just happen to see things differently ... I thought these rocks were very photogenic..hmmm...not sure that's the right word though,  for a rock!  ;-) Hope you enjoyed the drive anyway. I did! It was nice to be a passenger and able to take some photos!

What better R word than RIVER...but I am not sure whether you can see the RIPARIAN buffer...that is a new word I learnt during the week (pertains to river and creek banks)! This is the Brisbane River at Mandalay. The ROADS are important R words. ROOVES are important too. They help to keep out the RAIN...there are quite a few people in Brisbane tonight who wish they had a roof over their heads. Not only the homeless, but those who lost their rooves in the storm on Sunday night! RETRIEVERS are handy too sometimes! I enjoy READING...do you? and RAINBOWS..everyone likes rainbows, I think! REFLECTIONS are always interesting! so are ROCKS...always fascinating. more old corrugated rooves of Brisbane. and the REGATTA hotel is a local landmark at Toowong that I forgot to include on my world post the other week. The RIVER Hudson from the ROOFTOP barbeque in New York. The scrub turkey loves RAKING my leaves for his nest! What are they doing at the local RAILWAY station? ROBBIE loves...

ON THIS ROCK, I will build my church...was the reading for the day, and this is baby's rock, to remind him of the reading and children's story for the day! On this ROCK I will build my church....large ones or small ones, all important! Will leave you with some of the last of my images from New York...from 86th street, to 145th street , 157th street and Inwood. W 145th ..Harlem W157th street... W145th Street again next door building um...was this 145th I think... no matter what we look like on the outside..God thinks we are beautiful! about W157th Street.... W145th street.... W86th st? even though we feel as though we have been abandoned...God still is there! A great looking public school on 145th street....abandoned to the trees! On these rocks...that is us....
