on the weekend I was able to make a skirt for my daughter there was also a bit of dressing up the space commander meeting the ladybug but now there's a lot of this... I drove home in a lot of rain yesterday, there has been an awful lot more rain today...more than 2 inches here today, 8 inches (200mm)up at Caloundra and other places in South East Queensland and more predicted for tomorrow. Already of course there is flooding...prayers for those affected, especially the little family at Sippy Downs.

and more rain predicted...it just keeps on falling. The Mary River catchment to the north of us here had 300mm (that's 12 inches of rain) yesterday. Making communities there at risk of flooding. some visitors from the country came yesterday...for Brisbane it was a day without rain..wow. dress ups is always a popular game here... always good fun a magnificent sunset also...amazing.. off to church this morning early. the sermon on "water" based on the lectionary reading of the baptism of Jesus by John in the river Jordan, was very appropriate, considering the circumstances we find ourselves here in Queensland. some of the finished rugs were gathered in. and someone (me) took a terrible photo of them in a hurry before they got taken away. And then it poured with rain on the way home! May God go with you this week.
