A lovely warmer sunny day today. Just right for a walk in the park with the grandson. Wonderful new flowers on a quite large tree in the park, wonder what sort it is.

On a cold day, we set off for the Cloisters just down the road. Very convenient. It is a grand place. Even the little one was quite interested. And was very good. A lovely spot in the sun. Fascinated by this gargoyle pouring water from his mouth. The gardens outside are still interesting even though they are in their winter dormant state, it won't be long before the spring breaks forth Overlooking the Hudson river I love the look of this old garden these columns remind me of the University of Queensland in my home town..a little let's go outside again Mummy Thanks for coming along with us. My daughter reminded me that we visited the Cloisters the day before the first baby arrived, so we are wondering what tomorrow may bring!! Even though she isn't due for another couple of weeks. Yesterday morning early we looked out of the window to discover it was snowing. In Spring? Of course it was. There were the daffodils about to come out, looking like they had gone into suspended animation. some crocuses, (I think) and so we put on our warm clothes when we had to go out past the snowy trees that reminded me of Christmas all over again. This is where we worshiped at Christmas over a year ago. Grandma getting over her pneumonia in just four days (after going to the ER for diagnosis and treatment). A Christmas miracle I called it. Unfortunately all the others caught the bug too.
