On my trip to the suburb of West End in Brisbane, I decided to drive along the river. The Brisbane River. Found an old building that looked a bit like it might be next for removal. Not sure. Will be sad if a bit more of our history disappears. All in the name of progress I suppose. There was a cute little cafe in the front of the warehouse shop I was in. And on the way home, I was stopped at a traffic light, and realised I was looking at the famous St Marys church. It has been in the news lately , as the priest there has been told to move on. Apparently he is not running his church according to the rules and regulations of the Catholic Church. A bit of a shame, as it appears from the news that he has a very large congregation! Looks like a local theatre there. You can see I don't know much about West End really. But I did love the top of this building! Another little bit of our history is still standing.
