formerly a member of the eucalypts ...but not since the eucalypts have been divided into three separate sections... according to my sister, who is a lot more knowledgeable on this subject than I. But they are still just as beautiful anyway.

eucalyptus flowers pretty gardens impressive jacarandas and I have no idea what this plant is...I haven't ever seen it before. At first I thought it might have been a kangaroo paw, until I noticed the open flowers, which I have never seen on a kangaroo paw... but I thought it was very pretty another gorgeous jacaranda and the plover wonders why someone had to some along and mow his paddock yesterday. I was pleased to see the plovers still there...and the someone left a small plot unmowed...good... and I don't know what this tree is either. I have a feeling it may be a type of eucalypt. But it also is very impressive, in full flower!

They were predicting that it might sleet on the mountains. I have a sister in law who lives over the gap in these mountains. I wonder how cold it is there...brrr...it looks cold and bleak! Sometimes it even snows in a little place called Stanthorpe. the mountains earlier in the week...my signature photo! Sorry I am so addicted to them, but when they are right out my kitchen window, and where the sun sets ...well, what can you do? There have been rain clouds around also... here is the sun setting on the gums...(eucalypts, sorry). I visited Toowoomba last weekend up on the range, and so wil...
