A November Roundup and Happy Thanksgiving

Image
spring flowers  trips to Toowoomba for special occasions  always enjoy seeing these grain silos again...  and of course the jacarandas were looking good too  love the Brisbane architecture, in particular this house as I pass by each trip another old Queenslander house and sometimes even the army is on the move... It has been quite wet lately after a VERY LONG DRY spell...and I have had several trips to Toowoomba, the Garden City for several reasons... and I notice the next folder of photos hasn't been edited yet, so they will have to go in the next edition...hopefully next week!! Hope you have a great week! May God Bless You. and a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Spring is here

Image
Spring has arrived very pleasantly, with some nice spring rain falls...and of course all the wonderful flora... this delicate purple flower was found in the local park among the rushes beside the pond/spring... And of course with the onset of Spring comes the spring school holidays...good fun to spend more time with the kids...  pretty fresias, may have been featured already  good to have a quick trip to the ocean, despite being unwell, hence someone had to wear Grandma's jacket to stop him from coughing in the sea breeze... a tent is always a fun place to play on holidays... Just as well we are all feeling so much better and the coughs seem to have disappeared in time for school again! Hooray.

last week

there were a few bright spots last week despite the gloomy weather It was interesting to look around a small portion of Melbourne's CBD while i was down there last week my son showed me around a bit, and I enjoyed seeing the old gaol walls....and some early Spring flowers my laptop and camera are both broken, so I was lucky to have the loan of a camera for a few days....and to see the State Library. Thanks Melbourne, it was good to see you again. And the weather wasn't too cold at all. It looks like it is warming up again rapidly in Queensland though. Supposed to be 33 tomorrow and 35 on Friday. After a thunderstorm, it might cool down a bit the next day!
