Have been very slow at keeping up here... Here is my new friend ;-) It was raining when I went over to the beach for fish and chips one day... But it is still nice to be there.. Hope you have had a good start to the year.. And an even better week! God Bless.

 good to get out with my camera again... poor old camera... always good to get across to the beach for fish and chips and a quick walk occasionally too  whew, I nearly loaded way too many of these photos of the lovely rainbow lorikeet a nice day at the beach when I went over last week...  the lovely Mooloolah River...  plenty of people enjoying the warm winter weather here and on the way home, a shot of the banksia flowers...

Had to go to the podiatrist to sight the ocean again..not a bad excuse! One day I might even get to walk on the beach with bare feet, and maybe even swim again! One can always dream. Funny that the podiatrist was in the same street we used to go visit relatives at the beach a long while ago. Well it seems a long while ago when the kids were still at home and we all went to the beach together! sigh. Guess 20 years is a long time.

Love is all there is... Love and cherish your families Tell them you love them, Tell them God loves them..  and read someone's words about the loss of a cherished family member ... Thanks CBW, for sharing how it feels to lose someone, someone so precious that there are no words. And yet you were able to put it into such eloquent prose, how it might feel...it is so lovely to read  how you post about your precious family, and hold them close to you... May God be with you all, and the grieving  family and friends of the precious person taken from you too soon. May God help us to express our love for those closest to us, and to care for them such that they know they are loved.

How to survive the record breaking heatwave Stay cool ... Come n in the ocean's fine. Jesus is the Living Water... what was it He said Come Unto me all who thirst and I will give you Life. O is for my ORCHIDS on the tree by the front gate! Of course I had to resize the one that wasn't quite in focus for you! oops! sorry! This lovely one was given to me by the previous neighbours when they left...they had oceans of orchids, and left a couple in pots with me..aren't I lucky? I have only just discovered that this is called an OCHNA tree! The OCEAN is a popular O word I think. Doesn't everyone love the OCEAN? I know this person does, and she can't wait to get there again!! These ocean photos were taken (on a grey cyclonic type day) at Caloundra north of Brisbane, in South East Queensland! OLD people love the littlies don't they...and I think the littlies also love the OLDIES too! O is a good letter for OCCASIONS...and there are always plenty of OCCASIONS to celebrate, aren't there? These people are all cousins. Fun to get together again! The family loves to get together for these special OCCASIONS...and I like to revisit some OLD photos too! A...
