It's Spring Garden Weekend

Image
A grand daughter and I spent a little time having lunch and a look at the plants for sale, as well as a sculptured pottery display the church next door had a wonderful floral display and a rogue gladioli caught my attention in this back yard. My father used to grow them on our farm when I was very little just after the war Hope you have a great week...and that there are gardens to admire where ever you are!!

Red flowers for Sunday

Image
I was quite struck by this wonderful tree flowering just outside the door of the church today as I walked up from over the creek down the back. 1.I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. 2.Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Then there was this amazing arrangement of red flowers inside. 3.Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. 4.One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. all sorts of red flowers combined... 5.They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. 6. They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. from gladioli up the top to day lilies and hippeastrums too I think. 7. They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Then I couldn't resist taking another photo of the red flowers outside as I left...
