Australian skies this week... from Melbourne to Brisbane

Image
the skies were a little cloudy at times in Melbourne while I was there... and the weather cool and brisk...just a little cool for a beach visit really.... it seemed to be cloudy in the mornings, and then a bit finer in the afternoons... it fined up a little more just before I left to come home... good to be back again....quite a bit warmer here in Queensland.... Hope you have enjoyed my selection of Australian skies from the week... For more sky photos from around the world...please click on the skywatch icon in the sidebar over there....

Skywatch Friday

My skywatch photos from the week gone by. Mostly Melbourne skies. But this first one is a sunset I took here before I left. There were so many magnificent sunrises that week!!! This one I took from my sister's place...in Melbourne and these must have been from my son's place... this one was a shot I took at church before I went to Melbourne a few weeks ago. and a photo of a corrugated iron roof in town at the railway station .... I thought there looked like a bit of an oriental influence in this shot I took out of my bedroom window one morning down there! It was just the ordinary house next door. The skies varied between clear and cloudy while I was there. At present you may have heard they are heading for their third day of above 40 degree clesius (over 100 fahrenheit) record breaking heatwave in the state of Victoria and South Australia and neighbouring southern NSW. The same influence that is bringing the heatwave there, is bringing showers to us here in Queensland. I love...
