Tis the season

To be thinking of Christmas.. the decorations are hung with care we've been to the beach to hang out with family time to decorate the tree... Sometimes it is a little hard to be jolly when sad things are happening all around us But that is all the more reason to remember why Christ came into the world. Thinking of all who are sad, unhappy, blue, grieving, not well... May God be with you now.

Christmas scenes in Australia are quite different to the northern hemisphere! Although it may look cold, it wasn't.  It has been quite warm and sunny at times, rainy and humid at other times. But we have been mostly lucky and had fun with family.  A barbecue at sunset was a great time, The last two posts have been partly for Donna at Country Days and Journeys and the little photo competition which is about pre Christmas scenes this month! No doubt there will be more to come!

a lizard (water dragon) sunning himself on a rock...  just love these poinsianas flowering  now... I wonder if they will still be in flower in time for Christmas?  this one is on my afternoon walk, (when I get there) and you can also see the sea in the distance just underneath it...wonderful! and an hibiscus, again on my afternoon walk.
