Around here...the Cloisters...
On our way to almost anywhere from here, the Cloisters is in view...an adjunct of the Met downtown, it is a special place to visit... on Sunday we went past, down to the playground...Grandma is most impressed with the playgrounds...especially this one... I even managed to get the young lad to keep his mittens on for a while...(and then I managed to get them on the wrong hands)!!! At minus something feels like minus 12 degrees Celsius, he seemed happy enough to leave them on for a change. even aspiring actors can act out their parts here it seems.... and I think this impressive building might be the bathrooms, but I am not sure.... even places for the adults to exercise... and in the our usual park today, there was still ice in the river and pond. Perhaps not as much as some places in the US or Canada these days..but enough for me .... there's something about this manhole cover that gets to me... and the little lad was quite determined he was going to take this home to Daddy!
