Fun with families
It is always fun to be at a park... there's always lots to do... when inside on a rainy day, music from saucepans is a good activity not to mention building blocks... Prayers for a son and daughter in law, separated by half the globe, one flying for work tonight, from Frankfurt to Canada, another recovering from surgery on a finger broken at skating just after Daddy left home. May God go with them both, and all who care for them.
Composition Variations...A Personal Photo Challenge
The addition of some sunlight, always makes a photo come to life, I think! so much nicer to have a sunny day than a dull one! Of course, on a rainy day, one can always swing the camera around to a more interesting angle: or zoom in on the distant buildings over the passage. (or go shopping)!!! On a bright sunny day, just add an effervescent child whose favorite color is RED and whose favorite occupation is climbing hello there! My daughter thought I was very clever taking photos when I had left my camera at her place the night before! I did too. I think the phone camera takes just as good a photo as the proper one! Well, at least with me, who only shoots on automatic, at the helm!! I am sorry for this very late addition as a contribution to The Personal Photo Challenge for this month, hosted by the wonderful Donna from Cottage Days and Journeys. At the park
In my looking at houses, this one looked pretty good... the kids enjoyed being in the park... the last load, very badly packed first visitor, bird wise...very friendly! a nice feeling to be getting settled again, albeit in a much smaller house. It will be very interesting to see where to put things...another garage sale looks to be looming.
On my travels
While looking at houses for sale the other day we came upon this cute garden..but it wasn't the one we were looking for There was a tiny memorial garden in the middle of the street in the middle of a rainforest area at Buderim It was in memory of Edna Walling, about whom I had read a fair while ago. She apparently designed gardens in Melbourne Victoria a long while ago, and even built herself a cottage there. She retired to Buderim in Queensland in later life, and had a wonderful garden there too. At the time I was looking for a rental property, I discovered that her property was actually for rent, but they had many applications for it, and they were closed. ;-( Would have been an interesting spot! Buderim is a higher spot that looks out over the ocean, slightly west of the towns of Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. But not very far from the ocean itself at all really. Very pretty! We could have gone for a walk in the Park, but we didn't. Maybe next ti...
