I found some flowers this week....they were right here! this one was in the window box outside the kitchen window! there were some lovely wreaths around at church today.... when we got inside the sanctuary was decorated with poinsettias....how lovely! We have had a lot of rain during the week, so that made for some pretty flower pictures. This is very pretty, but I am pretty sure it is a weed, at least in this part of the world. The flowering pomegranates are almost finished. Most of them I found on the ground, as little stars like this.... I photographed some of them on top of my fungus book. There is a red flowering gum tree up a laneway from where I walk...very pretty. And the poincianas looked pretty with the rain drops still on them! I am not sure what these are... and these are some flowers on what I call a flame tree. another pretty gardenia.... I finally managed to photograph the gum tree flowers from the big tree on my front footpath. And I will leave you with the lovely frangipani again!
