SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Image
Thought I would start off with a brighter look at the sky today, even though we have had more storms and rain this week, and more is forecast to come! A few images from last week. It has been raining again this week, so I haven't taken many photos! I think I need to explain that the photo above was taken through the car windscreen when I arrived in Toowoomba last week. Hence the spots! I just love the colour of the sky in these. It is always surprising to be taking photos and discover the moon is up there! as well as a bird! I call these Mickey Birds. But the storm clouds didnt stay away for long. They are still around. A really great start to the wet season for us! MY WORLD..I've been tagged ..again

Image
TAGGED I've been tagged by KAREN at LOVED and ENGRAVED to tell 6 random things about me. Here are the rules first: 1) Link to the person who tagged you. 2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6). 3) Write 6 random things about yourself (see below). 4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them. 5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog. 6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up. Now for 6 random things--I am doing this in two parts...(must be my multiple personalities), as well as a prayer to God in this Thanksgiving week, that we might remember the best and the most important things in life! 1. A. Although I get very , um, surprised, and um ,amazed when someone tags me..I am notoriously bad at doing them, sometimes even acknowledging them (sorry) and then passing them on to others! Sorry again. B. I am getting tired of living on a busy corner where some of the traffic will not drive to the road conditions, and sometime...

TODAY'S FLOWERS

Image
We have had a lot of rain during the week, so that made for some pretty flower pictures. This is very pretty, but I am pretty sure it is a weed, at least in this part of the world. The flowering pomegranates are almost finished. Most of them I found on the ground, as little stars like this.... I photographed some of them on top of my fungus book. There is a red flowering gum tree up a laneway from where I walk...very pretty. And the poincianas looked pretty with the rain drops still on them! I am not sure what these are... and these are some flowers on what I call a flame tree. another pretty gardenia.... I finally managed to photograph the gum tree flowers from the big tree on my front footpath. And I will leave you with the lovely frangipani again! If you would like to see other contributors from around the world...please click on the TODAY'S FLOWERS ICON up in my sidebar.

Psalm 100

Shout with Joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey him gladly; come before him singing with joy. Try to realise what this means-the Lord is God! He made us-we are his people, the sheep of his pasture Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.
