Spring is here

Image
Spring has arrived very pleasantly, with some nice spring rain falls...and of course all the wonderful flora... this delicate purple flower was found in the local park among the rushes beside the pond/spring... And of course with the onset of Spring comes the spring school holidays...good fun to spend more time with the kids...  pretty fresias, may have been featured already  good to have a quick trip to the ocean, despite being unwell, hence someone had to wear Grandma's jacket to stop him from coughing in the sea breeze... a tent is always a fun place to play on holidays... Just as well we are all feeling so much better and the coughs seem to have disappeared in time for school again! Hooray.

Down by the riverside...and ocean

Down by the ocean...  there;s a river, with a marina  Always wonderful to have the chance to be near the river and the ocean

Special Days

Image
Occasionally on special days we need to ponder and reflect. Father's Day is one of them that always provides that opportunity for me. I had a bright and intelligent Dad who did his best at providing a good education for us. I enjoy the classical music that he so enjoyed. He built a tennis court for us as teenagers so we were able to invite friends home to play. He watched over us and our activities until we left home. Sometimes we wish things might have been otherwise, or better, but I thank God for him his provision for us. "Listen to your father, who gave you life" Proverbs. 23. 22

and again, from Melbourne

As I said before I love the architecture when I go to Melbourne. I also love looking at the patterns in things when I take photos. These are just three of the ones I took when I was there for a conference. Have been a bit slow updating this blog lately. Must be the gorgeous baby that I mind a few days a week that distracts me from my blog!  Always the interesting bits get left out of my diary when I am busy busy.
