popcorn makers are great fun... some thank you letters to write the sun was shining games to play and off to the park we go... going to fly our kites and do some swinging and while you are waiting for your turn on the swing let's try these kites again there's more than one way to fly a kite some more fun in the sun before we head for home.

a couple of the spectacular sunsets we have had the last few nights... and a change in the scenery...a kangaroo paw... magnolia... everlasting daisy.. agapanthus.. and I don't know the names of these two... country roads.... a gate... property names... letter box.... not to mention the usual gum leaves...

in the wonderful sub-tropical city of Brisbane I even launched into some cleaning..these windows look a lot better now... the lawn needed mowing ...again... and I managed to capture a couple of photos of the light of the setting sun.... the buckinghamia , or ivory curl, is starting to flower... I managed to get over to the warehouse, to help sort clothes again....the water tanker was out helping to hose down the driveways looks like there was quite a bit of mud still lying around after the flood.... luckily the warehouse didn't go under water...although it did come up to the front door! A little close for comfort. But so pleased that all the goods that people so wonderfully donate to charity were not damaged as I thought they might have been, and will be a good help to those who find themselves in need as they rebuild, and re-furnish houses in the weeks, months and even year to come. then a trip across town in the afternoon, to my brother, brought some more images of the city a...
