TODAY'S FLOWERS
We have had a lot of rain during the week, so that made for some pretty flower pictures. This is very pretty, but I am pretty sure it is a weed, at least in this part of the world. The flowering pomegranates are almost finished. Most of them I found on the ground, as little stars like this.... I photographed some of them on top of my fungus book. There is a red flowering gum tree up a laneway from where I walk...very pretty. And the poincianas looked pretty with the rain drops still on them! I am not sure what these are... and these are some flowers on what I call a flame tree. another pretty gardenia.... I finally managed to photograph the gum tree flowers from the big tree on my front footpath. And I will leave you with the lovely frangipani again!
