Flowers are such a wonderful thing on a special occasion. They can say we love you, when we say goodbye to a good friend, husband, brother, brother in law. and they can also be just ordinary flowers growing in a garden, but how they can cheer us when our faces alight on theirs.... and they almost seem to have even more significance when a marriage is celebrated, don't you think? And then when you come home to your own garden, there is often a little overlooked gem sitting beaming at you from the bushes. some images form around the church in Toowoomba...the Spring flowers have decided to arrive a little early, what a treat for us all and the bride...I do hope there are some left in a month's time for the Carnival of Flowers they have here! a lovely magnolia tree in the yard beside the church.... lovely arrangment in the church.... flowers being prepared for the tables at the wedding breakfast.... some images from the garden.... and inside.....an african violet.... and some lovely nasturtiums that were cheery at our front door.... the dracaena in my garden is flowering....I don't think I have ever seen it flower before...maybe it has been the long drought that prompted it.... and a final shot from the conservatory flowers at the wedding breakfast...
