some interesting glassworks
Went over to the see some glass works at the Botanic Gardens on Saturday. I was hoping I might win this lovely lampshade above, in the raffle, but so far I haven't had the lucky phone call! What a shame. I rather like all these too....very yummy... you could almost eat them... perhaps not. some people are very talented....aren't they? I toyed with the idea of signing myself up for some classes, but decided while I am on blood thinning medication, perhaps not doing so might be the better option at this stage. In fact all around, I might be better off with the mosaics in china ware...can use up all my lovely broken china that my son is just dying to throw out. I loved seeing the wall the women made in the movie How to Make an American Quilt . I think that's the right one I am thinking of. A few years ago that was. of course there was a resident duck at the lily pond...a lily pond where, in a few short months, there will be gorgeous lotus flowers blooming..I hope! and the lo...
