Today's Flowers are brought to you tonight in memory of the at least 181 people who died in the weekend's fires in Victoria , Australia...and families and friends who have lost friends, family and property also. A frangipani from this weeks photos.... for this special time, I am also bringing you some from my collection of my best and favorite photos ..this pomegranate... Irises at the Botanic Gardens... A hibiscus flower from Toowoomba this week.... The buckinghamia is in flower at the moment..... a thistle from this weeks trip down from Toowoomba... and a little lily also from this week! Please excuse lack of commentary...I can't seem to get a cursor on my blog when writing them, ever since my son installed my new printer! I have to edit in HTML and then I don't know where to put the comment! (except when it is at the end like this)! If anyone can solve the problem for me, I would be very grateful. (Of course I should ask blogger first)!

A wonderful bougainvillea in bloom along the road...the old fashioned color! The jacarandas are everywhere in flower at the moment. So lovely! I loved the way the light was shining through this leaf on my morning walk early this morning! And the color of this hibiscus was most unusual. these little pink flowers were peeping out at me from my neighbour's place over the road. some pretty yellow waterlilies out in the lakes at the university this week. And the view from my back verandah out to the mountains. There is a young jacaranda with a few flowers there as well as a glorious bauhinia.
