Did I say it has been Raining?
We have had lovely rain since I arrived home. I have measured 14 inches from the rain gauge. not counting today's. Praise God. Our dams are filling. Now at 82 % capacity, up from last weeks of 70%. I photographed this traffic box through the car window the other day while stopped at a traffic light. But I didn't have time to wind down the passenger side window. Next time I pass it I will try to get a proper photo of it for you! But I quite like the photo anyway. It seems indicative of what life has been like for me here lately! It also reminds me of the Olympics, of which I enjoyed watching a very small portion in the last few days. When I discovered it was on during the day and not in the middle of the night as I supposed!!
